Meet Kami

Her work is dedicated to honoring and reclaiming the ancient wisdom of intentional dressing. Infused with love and beauty, her work serves to enhance the true essence of the wearer.

The pieces she creates are channeled from spirit and from the earth. They carry the unique signature of the healing plants, animal spirits, and natural fibers that combine to form a garment. The end result wraps the wearer in a glow of protection and aligns them with the frequency of the earth.

Kami spent 20 years working in the fashion industry in New York City. After feeling drawn to create in a more aligned way to nature, and the true essence of her clients, Kami moved to upstate New York. The studio where the work is first imagined is nestled in the woods, close to the land that supports her work. This work is also supported by plant dyes and extracts in some pieces, and the use of a natural palette of colors on natural fibers for ready to wear pieces. Crystals, the inclusion of clear intention, as well as flower and plant essences are also woven into each piece.

The dresses that emerge from this process remember a time when women made and created garments for other women, and members of their family. It was a process informed by need, function, and also most certainly by beauty, and love.
